Ebola....is the cat out of the bag?

I have been watching this develop. One step at a time it seems to be growing and the government is playing catch up. It is always easy to do what is obvious after a disaster. This one seems to be like a slow moving avalanche of disease.
Today another RN became infected. The day before she was diagnosed, she flew on a airplane with 132 other people. She had a low grade fever. If you believe what we are told by the government, she was at least mildly infective. So now we have 132 more people to worry about in a system that seems to be reactive and perhaps over getting a little panicked. He is calling a cabinet meeting.
A lot of things start happening when people panic. Infrastructure is effected. No delivery of food to the supermarket today. The driver did not show up. Police are reluctant to go to homes that maybe effected. You can see where this is all leading. Chaos!
Maybe it will not happen. Maybe the Government will contain this and everyone will remain calm. Maybe the disease will "die" out. But in case this does not happen are you prepared to feed yourself with out a trip to the supermarket. You can take care of yourself for the period where " troubles" could happen. Remember this disease has a incubation period of 21 days. Remember chlorine bleach kills the virus. Don't touch anything that might be contaminated and then your eyes, mouth or nose without washing your hands. Did you just touch the faucet with a dirty hand? Need to take care there too...

I think it might be time to think about what is real here. What are the chances you will get Ebola. Very unlikely. How about if some one comes down with it in your town or your post office. Still very unlikely. What if you work in a hospital and there is a patient there with Ebola. Very unlikely!
What is the problem. People are afraid. This could be a disease that does not go away. What if some one comes down with it in Central America and it gets out of control. Our borders will be flooded with illegals looking for treatment ARE afraid they have it. What if people become afraid to go to work. No deliveries of what ever you need.
What can I do or you to care for yourself and others. Stock up a little food would be good. Improve your immune function. How can that be a bad thing? How do you do that? Easy. Take vitamin D and get your level optimized. Eat fermented foods or get at least 100 k colony count per day from fermented foods. This improves immune function. Read my "About". I don't know anybody who debates that. They may say it may not be necessary or I don't know. I can not account for others ignorance.
None of this hurts and it just may save your life and the ones you love. What is in this for me. Zero for compensation and just a feeling that I am making a difference. Make your decision.

As this disease shows itself for it's true potential, who do you call to know exactly what is going on. Who to believe. Everyone is a expert or think they may know exactly what is going on. Maybe they do and maybe they don't. Who to call?
Check this out.

I am a CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) who gave anesthesia for over 40 years. I find I am curious about a lot of things and what will improve the quality of my life and those I care about! I can feel the difference.
